Conditions at Yellowstone Lake State Park

Conditions as of Monday, December 22, 2008:

Trails: Snowmobile and cross-country ski trails will not be groomed before January 2, 2009.

Camping: The campground will be closed to camping until April 1..

Bats: Our populations of little brown bats have left the park to hibernate in area caves and mines.

Concessions: The Lafayette Dairy Bar Restaurant and Yellowstone Lake Bait & Tackle (including boat rentals) have closed for the season.

Firewood is available outside the east entrance to the park at Four Seasons, (608) 523-1543. Firewood burned in Wisconsin DNR campgrounds must originate from within the state and within 50 miles of the campsite.
