2010 Wisconsin State Park Sticker Design Contest Is Open
Wisconsin state park and forest vehicle admission stickers are designed by high school students chosen in a statewide contest. Entries for the 2010 contest are being accepted now through March 30, 2009. The winning design will be printed on state park and forest annual vehicle admission stickers and displayed on more than 150,000 vehicles. The design contest, sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, is open to all high school age students attending public, private, or parochial schools in Wisconsin. 2009 ContestThe 2009 admission sticker, with native butterflies of Wisconsin, was designed by Andrea Duarte, a junior at Waupun High School. It was selected from more than 300 entries. Anna Reardon, a senior from Waukesha South High School took second place in the contest for the second consecutive year with her design featuring a maple tree in autumn. Chelsey Kolz from Cedarburg High School took third place with a design featuring two canoeists on a lake. Runners-up in the 2009 sticker design contest were:
