Do you enjoy helping people?Like to camp, hike, bike or ski? Have talents and interests you'd like to share? Concerned about our state's natural resources? If so, Wisconsin State Parks, Forests, and Trails need your skills and talents in its volunteer program.
A volunteer may choose to work in any area of interest. The most common ones are listed under "Volunteer Work" at left, with links for more information. Wisconsin state park, forest, and trail volunteers from around the state are invited to a weekend jamboree each fall. The Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin provides financial support for the entire Department of Natural Resources. How to volunteerTo volunteer your services and share your knowledge and expertise, please fill out a volunteer application and send it to the state park, forest, or trail of your choice. You may apply to more than one property, but a separate application is needed for each one. Property superintendents interview and select all volunteers. Selected volunteers will be asked to sign an agreement outlining their responsibilities as well as those of the Department of Natural Resources. Related Links
